Tipsy Moose Albany

The food was absolutely not good. It tasted like they used precooked chicken from a bag instead of fresh chicken. Definitely disappointed. The buffalo chicken Mac and cheese tasted like they dumped an entire bottle of hot sauce and beer into it. The cheese was only on top. I’m not trying to be mean I’m just sharing my own personal experience. I was really disappointed, I’m sure they have better days but today was not one of them. It didn’t taste fresh, and the Mac and cheese could have been a lot better!

As another adventures in brunch we decided to hit up this location since we tried the one in Latham. And again I neglected to take pics. I'm sorry I know I'm slacking..... Was a nice day so sat outside. Got my normal Bloody Mary (I believe all locations have the make your own BM bar set up), mimosa flight for the daughter and kiddie mimosa for the grand princess. I wanted a burger but didn't want to bother with a special request since it was still brunch hours. So I went with the chicken n biscuit skillet. Daughter got the same. The Grand Princess got the breakfast tacos. They were full of fluffy scrambled eggs and either bacon or sausage. I can't remember what she picked. This time I asked for extra gravy anticipating the extra dry biscuit but hoping it would not be the same here. It did not help. Maybe if there was only a top piece it might be manageable but top and bottom was too much. Had the same issue at the other location - same recipe perhaps. Other than that the food was good

Fun place. Food is good. A variety of beers is nice. The waitstaff has always been very nice. It seems there is one person waiting on the inside and the outside and that's not really enough. The mac and cheese and the French Onion Soup come in little cast iron pots that are adorable Mac and Cheese, French Onion Soup and a burger is what I have had there and all yummy.
