I had a really great lunch a Thep the other day catching up with some old friends. The inside decor is beautiful, the food was great, but the service was SO SLOW. We ordered Thai iced teas, the chicken kee mao, chicken pad Thai, and chicken see eiw. My kee mao was great and everyone else enjoyed theirs as well! The iced tea was also good. My biggest issues were that we waited like 25 minutes to get our food and l the seating was also a little awkward. When the table next to us needed to get up to leave they had to ask someone from our table to get up so they could get around him. So that was a little inconvenient. Overall it was a good experience, I’d just recommend going when you aren’t in a rush (which I was!).
Beautiful place for lunch or dinner! Loved the atmosphere- loads of hanging things and feels like you’re in a cozy jungle. Prices are higher for a Thai place but the food is excellent so it’s worth it. Would come back again.
Wow. Wow. Wow. This place was magical. Their Pad Thai is, without question, the best I’ve had so far in NYC. It was perfectly spicy, tangy, and sweet. My best friend got the red curry which she loved. The fresh rolls were also delicious and incredibly refreshing! They were the perfect pick-me-up for this summer’s heat. Their customer service was just as excellent as their food. The staff is sweet and helpful. I can’t wait to come back! :)
