The Wharf

First time here. Wasn't sure what to expect. The dining room is pretty large and is a great place to go with friends or large group. Tables are covered in butcher paper and patrons use paper plates and plastic utensils. We started with cocktails. I had the Vacation Days and hubby had a bottle of soju... yummy! We ordered appetizers - fried salmon belly served with thinly sliced white onions and bell peppers and garlic bread. We then ordered a bucket of seafood in mild seasoning. The bowl came with Crawfish, mussels, clams, head-on shrimp, King crab legs, corn, sausage, and potatoes. It was heaven in a bowl and it amply fed 4 hungry people. Service here is good and the food comes quickly. We were very pleased with this establishment considering I found it via an internet search. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

This place is excellent for food--once you can get seated. There needs to be a better system set in place or the workers need to be trained better for efficiency...or they just need to hire more workers. I have been here many times. The last time, I had called and made a reservation. When I arrived, the restaurant wasn't even half full but we ended up waiting over 20 minutes last our reservation time to be seated. I love the food, though. I love that they have space for large parties as well as small intimate ones. Sometimes food takes a long time to make. If that is the case, the servers need to inform the customer of that. One of the items we ordered was a sushi roll--one sushi roll. 30 minutes later, we were still waiting. Thinking that they had forgotten, we reminded them. The server went to check and then came back and said they were cooking a new batch of sushi rice. It was near closing. They could have just told us that they would need to make new rice which would

I really want to try this place again and I hope that the service will be better. We we're hardly acknowledged. Basic things we had to ask for (cutlery, napkins etc.). My meal came out 15 min before my friend's food, making it awkward having to eat in front of them. The server would throw our food down and run off before I got a chance to ask for condiments. I feel that the servers should have acknowledged the wait and paid as much attention to his tables as he was his friends in the back.
