I think I just found my new favorite place! The bourbon, whiskey, and scotch selection was impressive. The food was delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. But my favorite part of my dining experience was the sense of humor of the menu.
As you walk through the door you are greeted by wonderfully polite host/hostess. The openess of the dining area is further complimented by stunning wall of every possible alcohol. The drink menu is only rivaled, in number of pages, by the Bible. On to the food. I got the Rick Reuben which although a simple sandwich to most was amazingly perfect here. I am a big Marble rye bread fan and theirs was great. The corned beef was cut into small cubes which was a welcome change to the traditional Reuben and the beer soaked saurkraut was a perfect accent. I had the bar tender make me a Toronto, which usually no bar can do this. Noone ever has the fernet branca. They have a game area situated in a room behind the bar with 3 pool tables and a shuffle board table. Some very interesting paintings of movie characters heavily star wars populated. The gaming area does not disturb the dining area as there are double doors isolating it.
I haven't been back here in a good amount of time, but I'm glad that I did. There's a great selection of bourbons and other spirits if you are into that kind of stuff. The selection here is the most extensive on the west side. The food here is good and prices are very reasonable, especially on the cocktails side. The ribeye steak was prepared to my liking, and I will likely get it again. The service both at the bar counter and table were good and efficient.
