The Village Diner

Today I purchased French toast with strawberries and it comes with I'm with a homemade strawberry syrup and whipped cream and I purchased bacon on the side. This combination was so good. It I drizzled just a little bit of serve on top because the strawberries were already sweet and the puree had a mild sweetness to it so you did not need a lot of syrup. The combination of the fresh strawberries, strawberry puree, whipped cream, bacon bacon, and syrup was delicious!! This is a must you have to order it and try it for yourself.

great atmosphere with great food. the ham is freshly carved, the french fries are hand cut, and the burgers are delicious. everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. owner and staff are very friendly ◡̈ very glad we went and will come again the next time we are in Orange!!

Ok so my wife and I went here for Sunday breakfast on 10/23/22. It was fairly busy because we had to wait a bit probably 10 to 15 min to be seated, not a big deal. Once we were seated is when the problem started. Once we were seated it took a bit for someone to come ask if we wanted drinks, we both asked for coffee and water. After about 10 min we finally got coffee but no water. Still waiting for another eternity we had a different lady come give us water after it was revealed someone poured the water but left it sitting for forever. We finally got our order taken and the waitress had to come back 2 or 3 times to clarify our order because apparently she didn't write it down. At this point 3 or 4 other people had been seated after us and started receiving their food. After what felt like forever I was starting to get angry because we were waiting forever for our food, nobody was coming to refill coffee until I tried to get up to go to the counter.
