We were very anxious to try this place as it came highly recommended, it did not disappoint and was fantastic dining experience! The restaurant is beautiful with a big bar that serves indoor and outdoor. We had about a 20 minute wait on Sunday evening and decided to sit on the outdoor patio (dog-friendly) which has misters everywhere keeping you comfortable. Our waiter, Jessica, was awesome. We came with our twin 1 year Olds and 6 year old. The kid portions are big enough for leftovers the next day. The staff was also patient with our family and we never felt rushed. The menu has a ton of different choices that accommodate any situation. Charcuterie boards, pizzas, toasted sandwiches, several signature dishes including seafood, porkchop, and steak. Most importantly, they have a build your own pasta where you decide on different versions of meatballs, types of pasta (the gnocchi is amazing) and sauce. Finally, a nice wine/cocktail list and a small selection of beers to choose from. What
Restaurant week $33.00 per person and the food and server were very good. Another plus was that lack of TV, thank you. It was busy and noisy but the food more than made up for it. Two people, around 1 PM Sunday 5/28. Total bill including tip was around $100. Restaurant week was the reason we dined here for the first time and we will be back. I recommend The Sicilian Butcher, Peoria. One caveat, I would like to examine the check and not having the server hold the pad for me while I tried to look at it.
First time visiting for my best friends birthday and we all enjoyed it. Service was great, food was delicious, and atmosphere was nice. I would definitely come again to try some other things I seen that we couldn't get since we already had quite the selection of items. Can't wait to go again.
