The Schlafly Tap Room

This is where I fell in love with craft beer years ago. After being educated about the creation of beer at the Tap Room, the light bulb went off. Once I understood it and appreciated the nuances, I fell in love with it. And it all started at Schafly. And years later, and many beers later, Scholarly still holds up as one the best breweries. Additionally, their food is terrific. Anytime we are in the St. Louis, we try to stop in, grab some beer and a meal, and enjoy the historic ambiance. Also, the staff has always been great. Schafly is truly one of the best breweries anywhere.

We’ve been coming here for so long, I didn’t even realize I hadn’t given them a review. Lunches have been hopping around here lately so it’s a good time to slide in around dinner time during the week if you’re wanting to deal with fewer people. Schalfly hires the best team members and invest a lot into them to promote within the company and it shows through those people’s loyalty to the company and what they do. As for the beer? Good. Food? Good. Can’t go wrong with that :-). It’s a totally different vibe than the maplewood location — so visit all of them!

We had a fantastic time at Schlafly. The food was very good - the sausage and sauerkraut was tasty. The beer selection was great. The service was good, too. It was an overall very positive experience.
