This was the first place I visited in DTR when I first came here 11 years ago. The building(s) are comfortable. Service is always great. Food is always 5-star. I've never had a bad experience here. They have one of the best Cubans around (and I'm from South Florida!), and the Bloody Mary is amaaaaaazing. Will keep recommending and bringing friends here. ❤️
This place was absolutely first rate! After google routed us to Trophy Brewing which had a) changed names, menu, ownership, and b) they were closed, we were left with few options. Luckily Raleigh Times was open a few minutes away and boy was it worth it! Wonderful menu with sumptuous beers on tap and gourmet eats, we really enjoyed it. The Devils on Horseback appetizer with bacon wrapped figs was super rich, sinful, but so so good. I would have been good with eating only one but.... I didnt. My son had the quesadillas and really liked them (server who was wonderful recommended them over the nachos) and I had the Cuban sandwich substituting the cucumber "salad" for fries. So tasty. Their draft beer selection is eclectic but great especially if you use the untappd app like I do (profile flipwils11, look me up). It’s rare as you travel that you stumble along a local place that is hospitable as the times at Raleigh. We had the opportunity to celebrate their 17 bday, what an honor. The food is good, different, and worthy of a try with the added benefit of eating where you’re drinking. We were fortunate to listen to live music on a Tuesday (WOW). My advice is beet the crowd and get here early so you can pick your seat. Live the moment.
