Jeff Ruby restaurants are an experience in food, service and atmosphere like no other. They set the bar on striving to achieve excellence and because we are all human and mistakes happen they do everything in their power to not only correct the error but to make every part of the experience that much better. Every one of Jeff Ruby's locations you can expect nothing short of a 6 star restaurant on a 5 star scale but to be fair it is worth visiting each location. Every location has it's own subtle character that is worth experiencing. If you happen to go to this location the precinct please ask for Lindsey. She was wonderful. Her and her team will provide a most excellent evening. I will be returning for a new experience at my earliest convenience. Thank you Jeff Ruby, the wait staff and chefs at the precinct. Keep up the great work!
The Precinct never disappoints!! Went out on a limb this visit and tried the Salmon… WOW! The Mac and Cheese is a must order, of course. We also tried the peanut butter pie for dessert and it was amazing, very rich but perfect flavor and texture. Jeff, if you’re reading this, please bring back the blue racer ????
From 1896 Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6 housed this location. Fast forward to 1981 when Mr. Jeff Ruby opened this steakhouse on the Lewis & Clark trail, right next to the river. One of 3 different “themed” restaurants in Cincinnati with Ruby’s name on it. From the moment you drive up, you’re greeted with a smile, no waiting, no wondering, no flagging down your server or valet. Rated in the “Top 10” best steakhouse’s in the USA. And it surely doesn’t disappoint. Due to the pandemic, inflation and as we all know; many other factors, the prices have gone up. But, you get what you pay for. And when you pay $80 for a steak, it better be worth every single penny. I can assure you it was one of the best meals I’ve had to date. Sure, the mashed potatoes were a little too salty, salad may have been a bit overly dressed for my liking; but let’s face it I’m not there for those. I am there for the steak!
