The Pizza House

Columbus, Ohio has a unique style of pizza. It has a cracker-like crust, lots of pepperoni, a thick layer of cheese, and a dense sauce, and it is cut in squares. This place does the style perfectly. My family has been going here for years. If you haven't had Columbus-style pizza before, this is a perfect place to try it. Get pepperoni and cheese and have it "well done." The staff here is really nice and the environment is very retro and comforting.

I have picked up pizza at this restaurant back home to enjoy several times. Every time, the staff at the carry-out counter were ALWAYS personable, polite, patient, and communicative! I simply love how they care about their customers and the quality of their food! This time, my husband and I both chose calzone. We called ahead to place an order and then drove to pick it up. Every time we called, we were usually told our order would be ready in 20-25 minutes. It took a bit longer this time because it was a Friday late afternoon. One of our calzone's toppings were Old World Pepperoni and Italian Sausage; the other calzone's toppings were Meatball and Mushroom. The price was fairly reasonable! Both calzones were super delicious! PS. I also dined there with friends once. It was a good experience, too! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is great. We were greeted immediately and our service was quick and friendly. We ordered a white pie and the Italian fondues and it all came out hot and delicious.
