The Pancake House Westerville Family Diner.

A month ago, I visited The Pancake House and was happy to see it still serving pancakes and traditional style breakfast. I have not been to The Pancake House in over 10 years, perhaps longer. The food was good as was the service. I ordered the double cheese omelette, hash browns, wheat toast, and bacon. I also had coffee, and an order of French toast. Everything was good. Nice and friendly service. Decent crowd. Small parking space out front and a larger parking space a few feet away. Decent prices.

First thing you should be aware of is that this place is extremely small with a small parking lot. Second thing you should know is that the food is amazing. Excellent service, great food and fast for this lovely diner. A great place to go for a quick classic brunch that is fairly priced.

Today they had system issues. Okay that’s fine. Waited for an hour an half in store for a pick up order. You’d think it would at least be correct? Get home and missing an entire meal for one of my kids. And a “blt” was basically a lettuce and tomato sandwich. Call and no one answers. Go back to the restaurant and they can’t do anything cause the manager was not there. Left my phone number. I seriously doubt I will hear anything back. I will be coming back to speak with the owner. Changing my review because I do understand things can happen. While that doesn’t change we had a terrible experience today I truly appreciate the customer service efforts to at least make it right.
