Nice group behind the counter serving everyone. We came with a loud toddler and two kids, asked for a broom to clean up our big mess and they declined. They picked it up for us. A family of 5 can eat here - with picky eaters - for less than $35. We keep coming back. … More
Some of the best fried pickles in town. Last night the hubs and I went to City Barbecue and the staff really made us feel welcome and valued. We were there around 7 and the place wasn't crowded when we first arrived. Everything was clean. We split the fried pickle basket and the city sampler. The meats were so delish and the green beans are my personal favorites. The fries were perfect. The pulled pork was a little fatty but that is not their fault, it was deep in the meat.
It was a great day to sit at the tables the Westerville location has outside. My friend and I shared a platter that usually has sausage, turkey, pork and brisket the cashier said they were out of turkey what would I like to substitute. I said more brisket they served us 3 portions of pork and a sausage...no brisket at all! Therefore this time I a rating food and service not as good as I usually would ! Vegetarian options: Well the greens and green beans both have meat in them....they are good but not for vegetarians!!! The fries are like FAIR fries!
