The Oyster Bar

Great food, friendly staff, beautiful establishment. It was very busy, but we still got everything in a timely manner. Your run of the mill oysters are kind of small there - almost like they were chosen to be that way? I’m not going to name any names but you can find larger ones in that area without paying for special ones. Everything else… awesome. Parking: Parking is absolutely abhorrent. It’s free, but you’ll most likely be parking in front of someone’s house before you get in that parking lot. You can hang convenient parking all the way up. The restaurant is awesome! It’s a great place for a nice date! Part of that date will be you hoofing it up the block to the Oyster bar. You can get some good conversation in!

Don't know why I waited so long to try this place. I don't do oysters but the crab cakes, catfish, shrimp, and cheese grits where awesome. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be coming back to try other things on the menu. Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant

8/6/22 nice atmosphere but food is not worth the price!!! Portion sizing is not matching the cost. The lobster roll pictures don’t let that fool you is not even on a 6 inch roll! I will say the oysters were fresh and good! Rice and beans are more beans then anything.
