Come for the cocktails, stay for the food! Seriously, it’s shocking to have a mid-range hotel with a great restaurant and bar. Great steaks cooked perfectly to your liking, delicious specials (I had red snapper), and the apps are a must (try the chicken fritters). The staff are super friendly, too! That includes the chef who was helping deliver the food and checking in to see how diners enjoyed their meal. Oh, almost forgot…the honey butter is an absolute treasure.
My husband and I were here at the Residence Inn for a concert. We stopped by the bar to have some drinks and eat before the show. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was top notch! Theresa and Kisha (I think those were their names) had the best personalities and made our experience great! We will definitely be back to the hotel AND the restaurant. Thanks for making our time there enjoyable!
Even Christmas Day, they operated!! Thanks for coming to work & helping all of us travellers☆★ I felt miserable that any of the restaurants in downtown Raleigh wasn't available except this & wow, your chicken alfredo & pork chop with bone in were Amazing!!! I added a glass of red wine for my Christmas celebration!! Thanks a lot all of The Overlook crew & also Residence Inn crew♡ You are Rock!!!
