The Original Christo's

We ate there in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. When we went in, it was almost full but we still got a table right away. Waitstaff was there almost immediately and took our drink orders. It has a nice, comfortable feel. They also have two cases filled with cakes and other deserts. It was hard to do but we skipped desert this time. We might go just for desert next time. The acoustics are not good which makes it hard to have a conversation while eating. They did not have a musician or band, the noise was just from other people in the restaurant, We had gyros, One with fries and the other with onion rings. We were told that they come with chips and that we would have an upcharge for the sides we wanted. Each side came with a $5 upcharge which we thought was a little high. Everything wasn't perfect but it was good and we will go back.

Christo’s has a wide selection of food items and they all looked tasty. We had the Tarpon Springs Greek Salad and Traditional Gyro. Both were very good, but the salad portion could have been a little larger for the price ($11.99). We shared a slice of Orange Cake. The slice was huge and very tasty, but the cake was a little dry. Best Grilled Chicken Waldorf salad I've ever had! I try to pick up a to-go order of it weekly. Highly recommend
