The One Sushi+

The food at The One Sushi was awesome. Fresh sushi and well made rolls. It was so delicious. I was particularly impressed with the manager's service for us. I really appreciate, again.

We placed an order for pickup for a group of 5 people and we all got sushi rolls. As soon as we start getting our food out of the bag we realized that there is only two soy sauce packets and two sets of sticks. For a $160 order and 6 different sushi rolls you would expect for the restaurant to send a few more sauces and sticks. I called the restaurant and the lady on the phone responded very careless and indifferent. No apologies or anything like that. The food might be good but the service is not.

I want to start by saying my husband and I have visited here before and had a great experience, from the service to the food. We were excited to return, unfortunately we did not have a positive experience whatsoever. The main issue is that we ordered a bottle of the cold sake that was brought to the table, opened and placed in a wine chiller. My husband and I took our first sip and it was room temperature bordering on warm. We told the waiter expecting him to offer a solution. Instead, he admitted the truck delivering the sake had come at 4pm that day, but said that since it had been opened he could not switch it out for a cold bottle of different beverage. I find that preposterous, how can you admit that you know the reason the product is messed up, but refuse to offer a solution. At this point we are still trying to be accommodating and agreed he could just bring some ice to put around the bottle in the wine chiller.
