The Lost Cajun - Highlands Ranch

I used to really like this place. However, when COVID hit, they pared their menu way down. This limited menu seems to be here to stay, and it just doesn't have a lot on it that I want. I recently ordered their catfish, which comes fried. I asked if they could blacken it instead of frying it (which they used to do), but now they can no longer do this. I might be wrong about this, but that implies to me that the food is not fresh and instead comes pre-packaged, already fried. (Again, I might be wrong.) This one makes me sad. I wish this place the best. One thing I still like: their po-boys. Go for lunch and get yourself a po-boy with fries and a gumbo.

The food was fantastic! Well seasoned and fresh. Their hot sauce was the best hot sauce I've ever had. The only reason I'm giving four stars is I thought it was a little overpriced. One of the things we ordered was the kids chicken tenders and it was $7 for only two tenders and very little fries. I'll definitely be returning though.

One of the few places I can go for gluten and dairy free food. I love the seafood and the fries. I also love that it’s a family run business. This is a full-service sit down restaurant with a small floor, so be patient. The food is cooked fresh by order.
