The burger is delicious, juicy (get it medium or medium rare to taste the fresh beef flavor), and it's even got a little tangy flavor about. It was seasoned perfectly. Waaaaaaaay better than a Big Mack at... you know where. Honestly, this Mak burger at the Local Peasant is on par with 1 of the best burgers I've had ever. This was my second time dining at this location. I think I liked it better the the first time I dined here. It was a busy Saturday night so, it was to be expected for the crowds and the bar like seen than a restaurant. We sat in the back which appeared to be an add on addition, but they stored a lot of items, like kegs and propane tanks. Wasn’t a great look. We enjoyed the food, but pretty basic for the price. I was expecting something a bit more since it cost like $16 for a grilled cheese and tomato soup. I still like this place and would go again but would like to see coming on a more relaxed night maybe?

The food was really good. We had the crab cakes, fish tacos, a grilled cheese, and chicken tenders. Everything was so tasty, and flavorful. Highly recommend you check it out. Looks like a great place to hang out at the bar as well.
