Get you a good slice here. Many options available, changing brews and a few cocktails. Wait staff was very friendly and even more patient. Seating area is small, bit many ordered carryout so a seat was relatively easy to come by at dinner time.

We were STARVING after driving with a moving truck from Connecticut to RVA. Soon as we arrived at the new digs, we started looking for food. I called 2 other pizza places and got no answer, so we stumbled upon The Hop Craft Pizza by pure desperation and luck. We are not disappointed!! 2 large pepperoni and mushroom pies and a Ceasar salad is more than enough for the 4 of us. Since everything is in boxes, the very kind server gave us plenty of paper plates, utensils, napkins, sprinkle cheese and crushed peppers. Not much left over. This place has a good selection of craft beer. Theres a decent outdoor patio area. The only real complaint is the teeny tiny parking lot. In their defense, the location is in a very walkable, trendy area. Cars arent really necessary and all the delivery services pick up from there. Looks like a keeper on the list of nearby pizza.

I’ve seen in other reviews as well that, the manager or owner, I believe, is very rude. We arrived around 8pm. It was a group of 10 people. We looked online and there is nothing that says anything about ordering ahead for large groups of people. We got there and saw that there were empty tables and chairs so we decided to put together some tables to keep our party together and have the kids sit down with the parents and place our stuff down while we ordered. The owner then came out and yelled at us and told us “whoa whoa whoa don’t just put the tables together. How many are in your group? We don’t allow our tables to be moved or touched like creeps.” It’s a metal chairs and a table. We’re not stealing your home furniture. It definitely could’ve been handled differently. If you like the food, that’s great. But for people who also want decent customer service, don’t take the chance.
