The Haven

I love local restaurants. Especially established neighborhood ones. This one is among the best and I eat out a lot. They didn't raise up prices during/after COVID and I love that and eat here all the time now when I stay/work in this neighborhood. Excellent food. Excellent staff.

I was happy with my experience at The Haven. I had a friendly server and everything was fresh and arrived quickly. I had the baked cod with onion petals and steamed broccoli. My only complaint is that it tasted like the oil needed a change--which is to be expected at a pub that serves a lot of fried food daily. It didn't ruin my experience or even stop me from eating the onion petals. Their restrooms were clean and well-stocked. There are multiple TVs showing different sports and shows, which some may find distracting. My meal was very affordable, and I plan to try the salmon if I go back. Features: Most patrons did not arrive in a mask. Waitstaff was not masked but the city ordinance has expired.
