The Gurkha Bar and Grill

I didn't enough the Garlic naan. It was too dry nd thin. The lamb biryani was good nd flavorful. Not sure what the hype is, on the chicken tikka masala, i definitely did not enjoy it. Worst part is, i ordered and paid almost 17$ for fish( it was shown and advertised as whole tilapia fish). When i got home, i found pieces of salmon fish sold to me. The most honest thing for this establishment is, they should have told me upfront that they out of tilapia fish instead of serving me a substitution without asking me.

The food tasted good but the $19 butter chicken BARELY had any chicken (I would say that the meat amounted to 1 chicken wing if all that) and the little strips were tiny. It was definitely more sauce than chicken.. Why charge $19 for sauce and rice?

Dec. 2021 We ordered to-go... Tandoori Chicken, Chicken MOMO (dumplings), Gurkha Ambrosial Goat Curry, and Garlic Naan. We loved the goat curry and tandoori chicken. The garlic naan was fantastic! 2019 We ordered the chicken MOMO, Ambrosial Goat Curry, Shrimp Korma, Mango Lassi, and some naan. The flavor on all the dishes were excellent. All the staff provided fast and friendly service. The chef even came out to greet us and ask about the food. I only gave it 4 stars because I thought the korma was a bit light on shrimp. I believe I would have had more meat if I had ordered the chicken or lamb. Still tasted great and we took the extra korma sauce home. They also have extra space for banquets and special events.
