One year ago I’d easily go every day to this place. Now, they have increased prices and lowered the sandwich volume. Was over flowing and heavy with meat now there is 2x more bread than mean ration this the inability to even enjoy the meat. I will no longer pay $12 for 6 bites of meat on a footling bun. Shame.
While the establishment is not well cooled during the hot Texas summer, the taste of the food makes up for its lack of AC. The rolls used for the PCS is light and offers a bit of chew. It absorbs the tasty drippings of the cheesesteak perfectly without getting soggy. The meat, peppers, onions and mushrooms are seasoned perfectly and not salty at all. The cheese was melted to perfection and complimented the meat without overpowering it. The fries were subpar, and nothing to rave about- but they're fries and unless they were burnt, I had nothing to complain about. Overall it was a great meal and I would definitely recommend!!
Amazing place, the owner is super nice, and the food is delicious. This place is the truth.
