The Daily Planet Cafe

The food was good and the location is nice, but it took forever for them to make the food. Was really busy when we were there (about 1:30), which may have contributed to the wait. They lost a star because an employee pulled out a chair at our table (without asking our addressing us) to sweep under the table (we hadn't dropped anything) while we were actively eating.

Food was good, service was great. They let me in the side door when the construction threw me off. There was one person ahead of me, and the gentleman sweeping stopped what he was doing to come take my order, even though I was fine waiting my turn. It has been a long time since a customer service person actually made me feel welcome rather than like I am just taking up their time. Thank you!

We had our lunch upstairs in the smaller cafe called Acro cafe, the service was great the young lady at the register was very friendly and you could just tell she wanted to make sure we were happy customers. The wrap I ordered was very mushy and not very good , the cashier offered a replacement for me. My husbands club sandwich was pretty good but it seemed like the Mayo on the sandwich had been heated and it almost looked like cottage cheese we just wiped all the Mayo off. But the kids enjoyed , and the $6 kid meal was great !! Such a great value . My daughter said it was the best grilled cheese ever lol . We will be back , just try not to heat the Mayo .
