As a NOLA native the seasoning and flavor here was actually really good. I got the Hot house special on the all you need platter. The shrimp were huge, almost too big since they don’t hold flavor that big lol. The staff was super friendly and service was super quick.
Ordered the boiled shrimp “fire” and it was like if I ordered the mild. The fried rice is $15 and the box is so small. What happened? It was not like this a few months ago or last year. I think they changed owners. Also while I was waiting on my ordered the worker was spraying down the balloons they had for decor, the spray was so strong. They can at least wait to spray till customers to leave.
My favorite place to eat in Houston as a seafood lover! Their oysters are delicious. And I always get the special house flavor on my crab legs crawfish and shrimp! I LOVE their turkeyneck soup with steamed rice on the side as well. It is a MUST!
