Awesome place . Real Mexican food , tamales are real taste from Mexico City , do not expect tex-mex food here . Service is great and staff so friendly . Tacos de Cabeza are delicious !!
This Location on Airport & Gulf Fwy. Not Friendly. Service needs improvement. Food was not what I expected. I ate other Location on Uvalde which is 5 star rating for me. Thought all Dona Tere was all same menu. It is not. Was told it is different owners. If you want better food from Dona Tere. I recommend Uvalde Location. Uvalde has Tortillas hecha a Mano. And better quality of food Very disappointed at this location. ON GULF FWY
Their horchata is delicious, and I love their Hawaiian ham and pineapple torta. This is one of my fav lunch spots because I always get my food quickly (this is not fast food but it's quick for a restaurant) and the staff is so nice!! Only room for improvement that I see is that I wish they recycled. The bread on the torta is very fresh.
