The Crab Shed

I should've listened to the low reviews. The staff is lazy and rude. The food is overpriced and bland. The service is truly slow despite the restaurant NOT being busy. The Asian kid wearing the baseball cap always is on his phone rather than checking on people. I ordered fried rice and some seafood boil, but both are bland. The fried rice is dry and lacks flavor. The seafood boil is definitely nowhere close to Boiling Crab. The woman upfront, who I assume to be the manager is also quite a bit rude. She does not have a customer service voice at all. With how rude and unattending the staff is here, you would assume the food is exclusive and top tier, but it is not.

This was the first time my husband and I ate here, I can see potential in the place if the cook and owner would listen to alot of the low rated complaints. Unfortunately we had some of the same poor experiences as well. The atmosphere was nice, but up front the service was slow. I think it would help if the fore front of the restaurant would actively look out to service tables in need. For example, noticing a drink is empty, my glass was empty for about 10 mins. My husband and I had to look up and try to make eye contact with someone so we could get some attention and help. We never even got a water at the table, which is generally the hospitable thing to bring. For dinner we got the bag boil and it was lacking flavor; very ironic because we got the mix of all flavorings hoping it was actually going to be the most flavorful. This place was disappointing. Service was awful and slow. Food was ok. There was only 1 server for a Saturday night. Got our food and drink wrong. They forgot to bring my father-in-law's food. Sauce was nothing but oil. Will never come back.
