The Catch

When The Catch first opened - they were great. I don’t know if there has been a management change, or if the place sold to another individual. Anyway, the level of service and quality of the food has spiraled downward. This evening, when we placed our order for gumbo - we were told they were out. After making other food choices, we paid and were given our styrofoam cups; one of which had a finger sized hole in the bottom of it - and it wasn’t discovered until going to the soda station to get tea. They were out of tea - sweet or otherwise. I’m sure the hole was punched through the cup by an employee and then placed back into the stack. The restaurant was smelly, and the floors were sticky and dirty. Staff really not concerned that their primary objective of good food, good service and attentiveness was not met. They really had a good thing going. Sadly It’s doubtful that I’ll be back…..

Surprise, in a good way. Food very good. Red beans and rice excellent. Etouffee and gumbo good. Fried shrimp basket small very filling especially since they let you substitute any side for fries. Garlic toast great. Good fried food. Not at all old oil taste. Shrimp good sized. Will definitely come back. Good value for price. Nd

I implore you please do not waste your time, money or appetite here. I went to eat here with my husband last night and during our meal I noticed a small roach crawling across my table I got the attention of this woman with purplish blue hair by the name of Clarissa I believe whom proceeded to act like the incident was not exactly what it was. Needless to say this is the last time I eat at this business.
