The Capital Grille

My husband took me to the Capital Grille for my birthday and it was fantastic! Our table had decorations on it along with a hand written card written by staff, our waiter Nick was top notch and our meal was delicious. They surprised us with champagne, dessert and a framed picture at the end. So sweet and so good.

I decided to finally give this place a try. Shane, the server, provided an appropriate level of service and a manager came to greet us and inquire about our experience. In an effort to be polite, I indicated that it was fine. The chicken with mushroom risotto was tasty, however, the clam chowder soup was not hot. I was hungry so I ate all of my food but my date barely touched his soup and only ate half of his chicken and mushroom risotto dish. I decided to try dessert. I selected the crème brûlée style cheesecake. It was beautifully plated, however the taste was just ok. My date offered me to make a selection of food and/or dessert to go, but I declined. The quality of service here goes above and beyond any customers expectations. The food here is unbelievably delicious along with all the drink choices and wine selections. Our server Reuben Shah was phenomenal human being and a superb server as well. I strongly recommend his services for a high caliber dining experience. A must stop if in town or a local.
