Picked up the Messy Bessy with potato salad for lunch. True to its name I went through the 3 napkins I grabbed. The sandwich, potato salad and pickle were delicious! Great spot for lunch in Minneapolis, reasonable prices, friendly staff.
The sandwiches are so good here! Sad they dropped the salad bar (necessary with Covid), but happy to still grab a great reuban. I do wish the staff were a bit nicer - they can be a bit short (never rude, but never super pleasent to interact with either)
Easy access location in the skyway but how do they stay in business? No greetings nor thank yous, not busy at all. Plenty of seating but absolutely gross tables and grimy chairs. Chicken wild rice soup with almonds was disgusting, overcooked mush with burnt flavors and bits of bay leaves. Mama Dora's sammich was basic: turkey, avocado, tomato and mayo. No lines during noon hour rush, not worth it.
