The band was delightful and Jon made our experience even better! Definitely book a spot to listen to jazz and enjoy some great drinks and tapas.
Cute little place, definitely has a lot of character. If you have the money to spend, it could be a romantic date night if you are there when they have live music. I understand they were going for authenticity but the chairs were uncomfortable and the table we were at had little room to fit your legs between the table and chair. My shirt got caught on the pealing "half-wall" behind me. We also had to mind our heads in a few spots but we are considered to be tall. The food was good, but there were very few options, small portions, and seemingly favorable towards vegetarians if that's your pallet. I was rather disappointed in the drinks. They seemed like the virgin versions of fancy juice...for all I know, it could have been a drink at Wholefoods. For the price, I was expecting similar in quality to a nice steak house. The worst part was probably waiting 30 minutes for a drink and then the food came 10 minutes later. I'm assuming our waiter forgot to put our drink order in because we wer
So disappointed. My husband and I used to love it here. It had been a few years and we spent a special night out there last night. The menu is easily cut in half and only small plates. We loved to go there for dishes that weren’t offered in other restaurants and the small plate menu is not inventive- truffle fries, coconut shrimp, cheese board… all just okay. Nothing amazing. The drink menu used to be pages long and is now very small. When asking for something off menu, we were told they do not like to deviate from the menu. Meanwhile, there was a full bar behind us. We ended up going to another restaurant after our reservation for the other half of our dinner. Such a bummer because we had high expectations from past experiences. Oh, and they now use plastic silverware. $75 for 3 small plates and two cocktails (which took 20 minutes to be made)… and plastic silverware. On the hunt for a new favorite place in Bethlehem.
