I called to ask the store something and they forwarded my call twice.
Thought the Boil was a Cajun restaurant, but when I read the menu and saw that I can order a philly cheese steak. I ordered mine with grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon, and mayo. The cheese steak was amazing. And I asked myself what Cajun restaurant do I know of that makes philly cheese steaks better then a philly cheese steak Jon. The Boil is NOT Cajun restaurant. It's an American restaurant that gives you more options for the whole family to enjoy. They specialize in there boils. I will be back for another cheese steak and my wife enjoyed the Boil. Thanks for great food an outstanding service !
One of the worst lunches I've had in a while, not sure if the boils are good, they don't serve until dinner. None of the cajun specials were available (etouffe, shrimp and grits, jumbalaya, etc) and about a 1/3 of the remaining menu was marked out with a black marker. They didn't even have french fries and substituted chips. The fried green tomato appetizer was like a green goo inside a fried coating and no plates were offered to eat from. The photo is one of the tomatoes peeled open to see what was actually inside. There's definitely a tomato in there but they must have been frozen. When we asked for plates for the shared appetizer, baskets were provided. Both the fried shrimp and fried crawfish appeared to have also been frozen. I was hopeful for a great Cajun restaurant in town, this is definitely not it. Maybe the boils are good but I doubt I'll bother to find out.
