College Street Pub

I didn't find the place very diverse. Which is surprising to me. There were a lot of English pride decor, which could have explained a bit, but... Food was OK but not great, prices were hefty but portions small. Waitress wasn't attentive and didn't ask if we needed anything after we first got our food. My husband was trying to politely wave her down for some BBQ sauce for chicken tenders but never got her attention. When we left, no one said thanks for coming or goodbye. All those little things matter to us and we paid attention.

We sat on the patio for 45 minutes wondering why it was taking so long for our food. I went in to use the bathroom and then the waitress saw me she said they forgot about our order. We moved inside because it was getting quite hot and they apologized and offered to make it right with a free dessert. We would've left because we were over the whole thing, but they had started our order, so we waited another 10-15 minutes. The food was fine, but nothing special. We love a family-owned business, but we realized how they might've forgotten us. Lots of family from the employees/owners were there catching up and it was quite chaotic, so maybe that was the reason. It was a small space, so it felt like a lot. We definitely would not recommend it if visiting the cute town of Waxahachie. Find another restaurant.

Great place for drinks, burgers, and menu items you can't get anywhere else in Hachie. Bangers and Mash and Sherpards pie are wonderful. Salads are very fresh too!
