Everything. Absolutely everything from the appetizer to the dessert was savory and delicious. Cornbread was served hot (not warm) and rich and crispy and just right. Perfect. The Bayou Mac had a different twist to things as it was made with black pepper (which we're not fans of) but surprisingly it was great! It was so rich and creamy. Though our stomachs took a hit with all the black pepper, we don't regret it one bit. The Chicken and Waffles were excellent. Cooked to perfection. The sweet and crunchy texture of the chicken complimented the sweet and smooth texture of the Waffles. Topped with (we chose Regular, not spicy) Maple syrup and powdered sugar! It was the best we've ever eaten. The Beignets (they serve 5) were specially savory, and sweet and delicious too. The Maple Cream Anglaise that came with complimented them beautifully. They have other homemade desserts that are topped with fresh, local homemade Ice cream from "The Cup" or Bethlehem Dairy Store. Ambiance was great. Musi

We were nervous because the reviews were kind of iffy. However, the food was amazing! Nice and different from the same old same old you get everywhere else. We had 8 people and split the pierogies, corn fritters, Mac and cheese, and corn bread for apps. All amazing! Best I've had. Dinners were chicken and waffles, fried chicken, jambalaya, and kids mac n cheese. Even the kids mac n cheese and fries were awesome! Definitely have leftovers. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the service. Not a single smile the entire time... not just our waitress... but from any others either besides the hostess. Not friendly at all. Never checked on us to see if everything was OK. Needed to flag someone down just for more water. I mean, we spent $400 there. You'd think they'd take care of you a little more. We are a family that always STARTS calculating tip at 20% and then goes up from there if service was above average, which is usually more often than not. I understand we were 6 adults, so it's

On a road trip from Ohio, we saw The Bayou and stopped in to try it out. We didn’t have reservations, but we found a place at the bar, even though most of the tables were empty. They said they had lots of reservations, which we understood, but all those tables remained empty through our hour long stay there. The perogies are an amazing appetizer and would recommend to anyone. My wife and I both had Cajun dishes. While they were really good, they seemed to be missing a kick I was expecting.
