The Barrel Room at The Gallery

This might be the new hidden gem in the area. Been here twice and the bartender’s creativity blew me away both times and the last time the food was equally creative and unique with a Wild Boar Rueben. Great place to watch any sporting event too with multiple screens and volume dialed in perfectly to still have a conversation.

Made a reservation for Sunday evening and most of the entrees were not available. Appetizers were ok, drinks were not great. The one redeeming thing was our server who was so kind and attentive.

I stopped by The Barrel Room for a quick bite and some cocktails before heading to see a show at Red Rocks. We didn’t know it was tucked inside the same building as an indoor firing range but were pleasantly surprised by the vibe, the service, and the drinks/food. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender Mathew who was friendly and super knowledgeable about the selection of cocktails, ciders, etc. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to drink, and he asked what my usual go-to cocktail is. I told him I enjoy tequila with a bit of spice, and he made a spicy margarita that was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Telluride Flat Bread and Strawberry Chicken Salad, both of which we enjoyed but the salad was my favorite. It was nice to have a healthier option to balance out the drinks and flat bread. I’ll absolutely be back soon to try their brunch and happy hour.
