The Bagel Lady Rockwall

Not even a better bagel in NYC. Unbelievable! Can't wait to come back. Service was over the top incredible! For my birthday I'm going to have a lunch bagel then Italian ice and then take home some bagels and pastry!!!!!

Ok! We have been wanting to try The Bagel Lady for a long time, so we finally went in this morning. First the pros: the ladies who we interacted with were really nice and helpful, the shop is cute, the bagels are good. Now the cons: The biggest ☹- eggs were being cracked and raw egg was dripping from a knife that was used to mix the egg, onto a counter that the bagels were cut on. That is a no-go for me personally, because salmonella. The line was long, which is a good sign, but they literally ran out of the bagel we were all planning to order 2 people before us which was disappointing, so know yo get there early to get your bagels of choice. Next, the bagel with lox sandwich, half pictured in this review, is 10.95. For me again, that is about 5 dollars more than what I would really want to pay for that amount of salmon/effort. One of the best lox and cheese bagel I’ve had in Dallas. The everything bagel was lightly toasted and went so well with the chive cream cheese and salmon. Coming back from a NYC trip, I’ve been on a search for a bagel close to the lox and cheese I would get at bodegas and this was the closest I could get to one and it was an excellent choice. I highly recommend this bagel if you’re a salmon lover!
