That Little French Guy - French Bakery & Café

The best European pastries and breakfast. I wish they had one store in Chicago too.

Delightful cafe and bakery. Charming decor. Friendly service. Delicious French menu with tartines, quiches, sandwiches, French toast, eggs. Variety of hot and cold beverages. Will come again.

Since this info was not obviously notated anywhere.... it's street parking (if you know the area you probably already knew that). But the blocks are tiny, so if you have to park a street or two over, no biggie. It's a seat yourself place, diner-style. You order and pay up front, you get a number and take your seat. I've purposely avoided French restaurants since most are beyond my price range. And I really never had French food, so didn't want to pay a lot for something I might not like. Prices here are decent though. I think this was $10-12? I had a goat cheese tartine (with honey and walnuts) and a side salad. And this thing was FILLING. I love that it wasn't super messy. I just picked it up and ate it. So if you're in the downtown HP area and wanna show a local small business some love, stop here for breakfast or lunch.
