Thai-U-Up Food Truck

Hit or miss. Food tastes great overall, a little too greasy, but that's most places! Portions are getting smaller every time I order, 1/2 container last time for 1 dish & nearly $18 with a tip. Maybe $1 - $2+ of ingredients, depending if it's a veggie or with meat. Also my notes to leave out certain ingredients haven't showed on their end 3 times and I had to show them a photo that I took of the notes on my phone last time ordered so they would believe it.

Great tasting Thai food from a popular food truck with a funny name. I've definitely been roped in and would come again to this food truck during my lunch break. The food truck location changes everyday. I came by as a part of my Eastlake Escapade (see Other section for description of what this is). Food I got the crispy garlic chicken that they are best known for, according to the guy at the window. The chicken was nice and crispy in the outside and very juicy on the inside. There was never a dry bit of meat. The outside glaze is sweet, and not excessively fishy since they use a shrimp paste house sauce. It's over a thin bed of lettuce but it's nowhere close to being like a side of salad. Best eat the food while it's still hot! Atmosphere Food truck so you eat wherever you want. The parking lot at 1201 Eastlake Ave is very safe and there is plenty of room to quickly pull in and order food. I was going to take a picture after a couple bites, but... I couldn't stop it was amazing!! Great flavor, I got pad thai level 3 and had the spice flavor for sure especially eating it hot, but not the spice burn.. Will be going back often
