Thai Purple

This is very sad I’m writing a review on our neighborhood restaurant I used to love ……. So we haven’t been back since Covid started , and today the visit was incredibly disappointing …. We ordered pad Thai, crab wonton , and cream Tom yum soup . The chicken in pad Thai had a very suspicious smell to it when we bite it. I think it has been sitting in the fridge for more then 4 month…. Noodle was way too wet … TT-TT didn’t bring out the aroma of stir fried noodles at all. Meat was so bad , My boyfriend and I Spit it out and took out the chicken sadly picking the noodle out. Crab wonton was a whole new level of disappointment …. I think it’s been sitting there for a while so it came out cold , cream cheese wasn’t melty . Skin was SUPER thick , has a powdery taste to it , NOT CRISPY !! But what amaze me is … HOW CAN U MESS UP FRIED CRAB WONTON ….. TTA TT!!!! Cream tom yum was pretty good , very creamy and had a savory taste to the soup. I was so disappointed. I enjoyed the sake flight but thats really it. I asked for extra potatoes in my yellow curry and there were like 3 potato pieces but a heck ton of bell peppers like half a plate worth. Even if I like peppers it's too way much. Also every other Thai place I've ever been to gives a side or rice w the curry but not this one you gotta order it separately. I decided to get the roti side and the menu picture was like 4 stacked on a plate and they just gave me one. Are you kidding me just one roti?? Also the fish tank was so gross I really hope there's no fish suffering in that much.

I want to go here again, I'm craving the garlic! the satay-style dipping sauce for the rolls waswas less sweet, more brown and tangy than usual. Pleasing service and atmosphere
