I don't normally review a place more than once. My first experience was a mess. My second experience was a lot better. I was introduced to the salad bar and found all the yummy sides that are usually brought to your table at other restaurants. But this one is self serve and you can pile it on. So I changed my review. I'm changing it again. Last night we went back. The waiter was decent, the meats were good. But the salad bar was yucky. My favorite, the potato salad, was liquid. The cucumbers were a little over marinated. But the worst part was the larger party of people they sat next to us. The woman right beside me was coughing incessantly. She wasn't covering her mouth and she was talking loudly to the people across the table from her. At one point, she turned right at me and coughed. I looked around to see if staff was paying attention. We were in the front and the cashier was looking. Throat snot was flying everywhere. We stopped eating and left.
A ROBOT BROUGHT US OUR MEAT!! All you can eat kimchi bar?! Yes please! We had the deluxe, everything was pretty good but seems a little pricey for $40 per person. The staff was cool and they have a new robot server that delivers meat to your table! The LA short rib was really good. Would definitely go back and probably will start choosing this place over Gen across the street.
All the reviews that mention cutting off service around the 1 hour mark is correct. Went with 3 friends not to eat because we were not hungry. We like reading reviews and going ourselves to test out and confirm what the lower reviews say. After asking 3 different staff including a manager about the time limit - it was confirmed 2 hours. When we sat and ordered, we got cut off at 1 hour 13 min mark. After showing the old lady a timer we had put on the table she still did not honor the 2 hour time. We were able to get her and two other staff together and show her on video that they told us 2 hours. She was clearly upset with them and said it was a mistake and should be 90 mins. We told her that’s fine, but we got cut off before the 90 minute mark. She said she will give us another 30 mins. Servers only came by 2 times in an hour. Other tables had to walk up to a server to ask them to put in their order as they were visible frustrated. The meats would come 1 price per plate the size of 1/
