Thai Chili2go

I was shopping in the Arrowhead area for an appointment and chanced upon this hidden gem located off of 75th ave & Bell rd. This cute joint is efficient and is a scratch kitchen for authentic Thai food. I've traveled to Thailand and know when the flavors are Spot On. I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs and I'm happy to tell you that they customize everything to suit your dietary needs. I got Vegetable Fried rice (minus eggs) (YUM-O!), Green Curry with Steamed Tofu (FREAKIN' DELICIOUS!) and a Thai Iced Coffee. The coffee came in a large cup, but it had such a refreshing taste after the spice and flavors, that I finished all of it in 1 go. I highly recommend Thai Chili 2 Go! We found this place driving by about a month ago. Went in and food was delicious. Everything we ordered was great; 2 different kinds of fried rice and pad thai. Couple weeks later we ordered the same to go; and big disappointment!!. Rice was dry, chicken was burnt like it stayed in the wok a minute more than needed. Needless to say we are disappointed! Will give it one more try in the coming weeks to see if the good food was the exception or the bad.

We have eaten here several times. The pad thai and curries are decent and good portions. The Tom Yum is bland and the family size is smaller than we expected. The veggie spring rolls say they have multiple veggies, but there was only cabbage in ours. Ordering spicy basil "mild" means they don't include the jalapeños (my husband just didn't want added heat.) Overall the staff have been great and the store is clean and comfortable. Features: About half the staff were wearing masks about half of the visits we have made.
