Shredded chicken was extra salty. We never get our sauce when we request it on the side. The rice was chewy and dry. We have ordered a few times by their app. The app is easy to use, but this location does not pay attention to details of the order. My suggestion is to pick another location.
Cafe Rio In general is great. This location is absolutely terrible. The staff basically treats you like you are an inconvenience for coming in to get food. The food is good when they actually have grilled chicken prepared. I have been there 4x in a row, and each time, it’s 30-40 min before they have grilled chicken. I understand how it works, but if this is a constant issue, maybe, just maybe the manager should pay attention to sales trends and increase the amount of grilled chicken they make, or how often they grill more. I will not be returning to this location, which is sad, because I don’t eat out often, typically 1x a week and loved going here, but I won’t be treated like I’m an inconvenience, spending my money in your establishment.
My husband and I typically like Cafe Rio. We don't eat out much, but when we do it's usually Cafe Rio. This location made me not want to go back at all. We showed up right before 9pm (they close at 10) which I know is late but not too late before closing. The girl had all the meats on the table because she was cleaning where they are usually kept. She asked what my husband wanted, which was an asada burrito but they didn't have any asada made and their grill was off so he defaulted to their new chicken. Then she asked me what I wanted but got interrupted by another girl who said there was a to-go order. At this point both girls start working on the to-go order, which was only 1 burrito and completely ignored us. Once they are both finished, the first girl came back and asked for our entire order again. The tortillas were straight out the bag and not warmed up on the grill and neither was the meat. The tortilla ripped as she tried to fold it since it wasn't warmed and she didn't care an
