So thankful for a short trip to Washington DC and made me think about this restaurant that I visited friends in Silver spring 4 years ago. The food is so delicious and never disappointed me. Make me feel like home. Thank you so much for fabulous authentic Thai food.
I was really looking forward to trying this spot because I’ve only heard good things but the customer service is pretty non existent. I have a gluten allergy and typically Thai is good because they don’t use a lot of gluten. I ordered a crispy duck (no indication that it had gluten from the menu). Upon taking the first bite, I noticed a light breading. I picked up the phone and called to confirm before I got sick. I was connected to what seemed like the manager. After verifying that it was indeed breaded with flour, I was told that “I should’ve known better”. This led to myself and the woman going back and forth because the menu did not say that it was breaded so I’m not too sure what I should be knowing better about. The interaction was disrespectful considering I had paid $30+ and had my health compromised. If this is how the establishment deals with customers then I’m good, Kin Da would never.
The food & service where both great! Appetizers, dinner & especially dessert was delicious we will definitely be back to dine. Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes … More
