Flip'd by IHOP

Garden omelet was very good, pancakes and iced coffee were alright. Big issue we had was the amount of plastic waste from dining in, even if you dine in you’re served in to-go containers and they do not have recycling, we actually ended up carrying all the plastic bowls and lids back to our apartment to make sure it could be recycled. We were also given extra lids and utensils for no reason (four utensil packs for two people, three lids on one pancake bowl container). Especially for a new concept like this, more environmentally friendly (maybe compostable containers?) would be better

We have been waiting to try this place since we found out it was going to open in DTSS. We finally tried it for breakfast this morning! When we walked in we were greeted by very happy smiles & friendly faces. We placed a mobile order ahead of time & our food still had a little bit of time left once we arrived (maybe only 5-10 min). We ordered a breakfast sandwich, burrito, and loaded potatoes (which I personally think were the best).

So I considered my self a regular here before tonight. I walk in its 8:55pm on Saturday night and my wife and I order food and a coffee. We ask the manager where would we sit because the 3 tables he deemed available for eating were all occupied with other guest yet the entire dining section was open and he instructed me that they were closed because The employees wanted to leave on time more than 2 hours before closing. Then walks in a large group of white young girls and they naturally go to the back and sit down while waiting for their food. I make a comment to him about them going there and he gets mad then allows them to go there and instructs me to go to the bar and I won't be "allowed" to sit in the back like I'm punished or something. His name is Jonathan and I'd recommend he be removed from duty here if thus new company has any plans on thriving and growing. His customer service is a liability and doesn't understand basic customer courtesy. He's also probably a undercover Uncle
