Love Thai 9, some of the best food in the Dayton area! They are always busy, so I would recommend calling ahead or making a reservation. But delicious food, an awesome beer selection full of local options, and good service made this for a great dining experience and certainly will go come back many more times! Also I appreciate that you can ask for chili oil to add a bigger kick to your food if you would like. I'm a big fan of their Pad Thai. Definitely recommend!
First time visiting Dayton recreationally, and I was not alone this round. I am a sushi guru - i know good sushi, I know great sushi…this place had great sushi. But there was a lot to be desired. While the sticky rice did not fall apart, much of your classic sushi rolls have different flavors. Their Shrimp Tempura roll has much to be desired without a yum yum sauce in house. They do not have a Yum Yum sauce - its not Thai!? What? Lol…also their fried calamari was very chewy and only served with soy sauce - gross. Their ginger slices were red not yellow…and the server was great, very knowledgeable however we wouldn’t see her for almost 20 minutes at a time. Might try again during the day and not on a Saturday. But take note.
Comfortable place for a quick lunch. Chicken coconut soup is so good. Pad see yes noodle are very good , their pad thai though is a mess. If you ever tried pad in New York you would not like this one. But overall a great place to get delicious Thai food in Dayton.
