The service was exceptional, and the food was superb. Every aspect of their dishes are designed with incredibly fresh and tasty ingredients, even within their cocktail menu. Easily one of the best meals I've ever consumed! I loved the atmosphere, especially with the lovely mosaic inside the main dining area. Their tradition of signing your name into a copy of The Tempest (by Shakespeare) which the restaurant is named after is quite unique and memorable. You would be crazy to not eat here at least once.
One of our most memorable meals in Charleston. The food was delicious! We ordered the octopus, roasted oysters, grouper, and snapper, and the “some more” dessert. The best part though was the unique way in which we received the bill (won’t spoil but the pictures give some hints). Will be coming back for sure next time we are in town! Dine in: Yes … More
My husband and I ate here while on vacation in Charleston. The food was amazing. The service and staff was also amazing. Our waitress was so sweet she took our picture for us. This was definitely some of the best seafood I’ve ate in my entire life! If you are in Charleston go to Tempest! You will not be disappointed I promise!
