My wife and I decided to give the Charleston Crab House a try for lunch while in Charlston for the day. I'd give them 6 stars if I could! Service was quick, friendly and very attentive. Our waiter Joe was awesome. I started with hushpuppies with honey butter; very good. Also tried the she crab soup; delicious! For my entree, I ordered the red fish sandwich. It was cooked perfectly; loved it. Highly recommend the Charleston Crab House!
She Crab soup was velvety and delicious, hushpuppies came with a delicious honey butter and the fried oysters and grits were everything you'd expect! Crunchy and cooked very well. Grits were creamy cooked nicely. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and guests. Can be very busy during travel seasons so plan accordingly. We've eaten here twice and will definitely be back!
Went in for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised after finding this place. My wife had red sangria drinks and I had the Hugo rum cocktails which were both excellent. Started off with some raw oysters which were very good. She had the seafood a la wappoo which was good but a little heavy on the garlic. I had the lowcountry shrimp and grits and it was phenomenal. Our waiter Phillip was fantastic also. Definitely suggest stopping by for great drinks, food, and service.
