Yea, I was expecting the world given the high reviews. But, this place was meh and just okay - I wouldn’t say it’s worth all the ratings it has gotten. The baba vanish and hummus is good. Lamb/beef shawarma wasn’t great - tasted dried out and not as flavorful as expecting and quantity didn’t seem up to par. Chicken taza spicy was not bad and okay. Rice was okay. Garlic sauce was good but I was only able to get one packet and the menu shows they can charge $.50 for more packets. Tzaki sauce was good too. To improve, I would like to have the amount of sauces to be to be customer prefer - someone want their dish more sauce and cream and others want less calories. I think Halal Guys, though further away, is much better value in terms of protein provided and they also do it to your taste/preference for sauce and spice/heat. Wait for food was about 20 more minutes than I would have thought expected for takeout place. Customer service here is good though.

Had my “favorite” Mediterranean dessert (baklava)…PERFECT proportion size! Most Mediterranean restaurants serve their’s really thin. Taza has the perfect proportion size just the way it should be. But the baklava was EXTREMELY DRY!! I guess you have to order it “fresh”…..was under the heating container way too long!! EXTREMELY disappointed!….The chicken salad bowl was delicious though! Will absolutely go back, but will not order the baklava! ????

I got the grilled chicken bowl with garlic sauce. So good.. ingredients were fresh and it was a good amount of food for 10.99. Def will come back to try other items.
