McCray's Tavern - Smyrna

This was a random visit after the place we were going to wasn't open until later in the day due to it being Father's Day. But what a great choice it was. Not too busy, could sit outside comfortably and a free beer for Father's Day! The food was good. I had a salad and it was on a cold plate and was really well prepared and presented. The serving staff were very friendly. Try it and I'm sure you'll enjoy.

The food and drinks were really good. I had the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita and if you like just a little spice , you will love it. My meal , I did the shrimp and grits. So good and did not have the tail on the shrimp ( have to mention that because that irritates me, makes me feel like I'm playing with my food). We had a large group so they sat us in the back room which was perfect. That way we didn't disturb other guest. Will definitely be back! Jonathan was an amazing server!

Howdy y’all! My date and I dined 8/3/22 for dinner. Our server Robbie contributed greatly to our 5 star experience. She was very attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. She suggested that I order the matador burger which didn’t disappoint to say the least! My handsome date spoke highly of the fish and chips. The beer batter was delightful crispy, beautifully golden brown and the fish was perfectly moist and flaky! Our dishes and silverware were spotless. Shout out to the BOH!! We’ll be sure to return!
