Tatsu Izakaya

Best Tonkatsu ramen I’ve had outside of Tokyo! The gyoza pair nicely, but are greasy for my taste. I wish there was a steamed option!

Very classic Japanese style ramen. The ramen is really amazing. Lots of flavor and everything is a really good price. The sushi here is fresh and delicious with good price. Service staff are nice and easy to talk, really feel like home.

It kills me that I’m not giving it 5 stars because everything was great.. The staff was very nice and always was there asking if we needed anything else. The karaage was nice, crunchy and had a really nice flavor (good dipping sauce). I had soju for the first time here and I absolutely fell in love. The gyudon was was nice and flavorful (needed a tiny bit of soy sauce and it made it very pleasant). The beef was very tender and the ginger gave it really good balance. The one issue I had, which would have made the gyudon phenomenal; was a runny egg. Unfortunately the egg my girlfriend and I got was more on the hard boiled side and it really kind of killed the whole vibe of the dish. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good. Other than that though, I see myself becoming a regular here, its a little pricey but it’s honestly worth it for the portions and what you get. So close to the 5 stars…
