Taste of Persia

This place is GREAT! I’m Persian and I’ve been waiting for almost twenty years for a good Persian restaurant to come to middle Tennessee. it’s nice to not have to make my own persian food finally!!! the kebabs were PERFECT. The gormeh sabzi and barberry chicken were perfect too. Can wait to try more!

I’ve been waiting for this place to open so went to get some take out for dinner with my family. I was greeted by a very nice lady and her customer service was very good. The koubideh was actually pretty good but I recommend maybe adding some sumac on the side to give it a little more flavor. The Shiraz salad was very disappointing…I mean If I’m paying $8 for a salad I expect something a little bigger than what looked like a small side and honestly didn’t have much flavor. My wife ordered the lamb shank and she said it was very alright, nothing special. I did like the light fixtures And the cleanliness of the place. They are a new business and sometimes it takes a little time to get it just right. Overall I give them 3.7 stars and hope they take this as constructive criticism and improve because I would love some good Persian food. Taste of persia could do better.

So happy to find this place! The food quality is great and the taste is truly remind me my homeland. I got a to go order and while I was waiting I ordered tea ♥️
